We are happy to offer the finale of Lodovico ROCCA's IL DIBUK, here performed live by OLIVIA STAPP as Leah and Nicola MARTINUCCI as Hanan. The recording goes back to 1982. The then 86 year old composer was present at this performance in Turin. Sender takes his daughter to the rabbi and asks him to free his daughter from the dybbuk but the attempt fails. Sender then repents and Hanan's spirit leaves the body of his beloved. When she's left alone to rest, his ghost appears to the unconscious girl, holding out his arms and calling imploringly to her. Leah dies while the chorus announces that the lovers are united for ever.
